October was full of creativity, connection, and community spirit here at St. John’s Place of Arkansas.
Early in the month, our residents kicked off the fall season by putting on their creative hats and decorating festive fall cookies. The sweet treats were as beautiful as they were delicious, and everyone had a great time expressing their seasonal flair.
Later, our residents enjoyed a special outing to the Dallas County Library, where they participated in a painting class led by Carmen Cambre. It was a wonderful opportunity for our residents to show off their artistic talents and enjoy a relaxing, inspiring afternoon. A big thank you to the library and Carmen for hosting such a delightful experience.
To wrap up the month, we welcomed the Dallas County Extension Homemakers Club Ladies, who joined us for a lively game of bingo. The room was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and lots of smiles as residents played for fun and prizes.
We’re so grateful for those in our community who help make these moments possible. October was a month to remember, and we’re looking forward to even more joy and creativity in the months ahead.
